This site is intended as a central point of information on
the life and work of Bruce Chatwin. It is not affiliated
with the estate of Chatwin, and is not official in any way,
despite my sharing a surname with the subject of the site!
My interest in Chatwin is critical - I completed a PhD
thesis in 2008 on the subject of restlessness in the
author’s work, and have recently completed a literary study
to be published by Manchester University Press in 2012.
